Curriculum Development
The DBE’s draft national coding and robotics curriculum is structured as follows across the Foundation, Intermediate and Senior Phases:



Working alongside various other private sector partners and foundations to support government’s rollout of the coding and robotics curriculum in six of South Africa’s nine provinces, we are confident that our UBTECH offering meets and exceeds the robotics section of the national curriculum for coding and robotics.
As experts in the Project-Based Learning (PBL) space, we have created a fully CAPS aligned curriculum with an added STEM and project-based learning focus, which we have successfully rolled out at Future Nation Schools, which is part of our holding company’s umbrella.

Leveraging our PBL experience, our curriculum links coding and robotics with the real world while featuring technology and algorithm as the tools and means to solve any real-world problem.
Our curriculum follows the following articulation path across the various school phases:
